Monmouth Golf Club, the "Jewel in the Hills" is available for members and guests alike. While most courses boast one "signature hole" Monmouth has many that are worthy of this label. A visit to the 19th to sample local ales and great food will complete any visit.

TODAY ON THE COURSE

Welcome to Monmouth Golf Club. We are very pleased to be open again, following the Welsh Lockdown. However, due to further restrictions, we are open to Welsh Residents only. 9 Hole Loop ONLY No Buggies are allowed on the course today. All golfers must agree with this self assessment statement and declaration and bring verified identification with them: " I have NOT HAD in the last 2 weeks any of the following COVID-19 symptoms: A continuous high temperature; A loss of test or smell; A new continuous cough. I also confirm that I have not to the best of my knowledge had contact with anyone else who has had these symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19" "I also confirm that I nor any other person in my household or extended household have NOT been told to self-isolate and are not currently subject to COVID-19 quarantine after travel or illness. I also confirm that I have not travelled into or away from an area that is currently subject to any form of local coronavirus restriction or lockdown"

OUR STORY

Monmouth Golf Club was formed on the 25th June 1896 at a meeting held in the Kings Head Hotel. There was another golf club in Monmouth called the Vauxhall Golf Club which had been formed in 1892 by members of the army garrison stationed in the town and the majority of its members were army personnel.
